Beautiful garden surroundings
Formal woodland and water gardens which have evolved through three centuries. The ideal family outing garden as the gardens run down to a sheltered sandy bay where the younger members (and dogs) can let off steam. 400 yards from the John Paul Jones Birthplace Museum, his father created the gardens c1750. The photograph is of Arbigland Bay and the House on the Shore at the foot of Arbigland Gardens. Historic Houses Association Member. Opening Times: 1 May - 30 Sept: Tue - Suns plus BH Mons, 2 - 6pm.
