Some of the most spectacular scenery in the country
Stretching from the Vale of York to the coast, the North Yorkshire Moors provide some of the most spectacular scenery in the country with hills, vales and the wild, heather covered moors, which were the inspiration for Emily Bronte's novel "Wuthering Heights". The Parsonage at Haworth, once the home of the famous Bronte sisters, is now a museum of their life and works. For further information contact Danby Tourist Information Centre on Tel: 01439 772737.
