Fascinating permanent exhibition of the history of gardens
A vast collection of ancient tools and recreated 17th century garden displaying flowers and shrubs of the period - seeds of which may be purchased in the garden shop. Visit the tombs of the Tradescants and Captain Bligh of the Bounty. They have knowledgeable staff and lectures, concerts, courses and art exhibitions are held regularly.
