Help preserve these 20 acres of magically beautiful, peaceful woodland and water gardens. Daffodils, bluebells, azaleas, naturalised gentians, autumn colours. Rippling streams, enchanting vistas. Four acres of natural wildflower meadows. Rare plants. Tree trail. Recommended by Christopher Lloyd. Picnic area. Gardens may be booked for photographic sessions. Special event days - Chilean Plant Week 24-28 May. Bonsai demonstrations will also be held over the Bank Holiday weekend and on Monday 28 May - open from 11am. National Collection of Stewartia Trees flower at the end of June. Sunday 19 August open from 11 am and horses from the Heavy Horses Trust come to harrow the wildflower meadows. Sunday 21 October - Daffodil Fayre in aid of Marie Curie Cancer care open from 11 am. Opening Times: Mid-March to end of October: daily, 1 - 5pm. Closed Wednesday afternoons
