Situated on a hilltop overlooking London, between Blackheath and the River Thames, is Greenwich Park, the oldest enclosed Royal parkland. It is also the only Royal Park east of central London. The park which covers 73 hectares (183 acres) is associated with a pageant of kings and queens and provides a setting for several historic buildings, including the Old Royal Observatory     |
