Originally an early Georgian house, Dunham Massey has sumptuous interiors, with collections of walnut furniture, paintings and magnificent Huguenot silver. The richly planted garden contains waterside plantings, late flowering azaleas, an orangery and Elizabethan mount. The surrounding deer park escaped the attentions of 18th century landscape gardeners and contains some notable specimen trees. Opening Times: House: 27 Mar - 31 Oct: Sat - Wed, 12 noon - 5pm (11am - 5pm BH Sun & Mon), last admission 4.30pm. Garden: 27 Mar - 31 Oct: daily, 11am - 5.30pm, last admission 5pm. Mill machinery will normally operate Wed & Sun afternoon. Park open daily throughout the year    |
