Charlestown Shipwreck & Heritage Centre(St. Austell, Cornwall, UK)

Located in an historic china clay building, this centre offers visitors a fascinating insight into the history of Charlestown and shipwrecks. It houses the largest general exhibition of artefacts recovered by divers on public display in the United Kingdom. On entering the building, walk through underground tunnels where clay trucks were pushed out to the ships in the port, then watch the special audio-visual show to find out how and why the port was built in 1790
