Unspoilt Elizabethan `Mansion House'. Panelled rooms, two 17th century staircases, great parlour. From 1502 the seat of the Revells and now of the Cartland family. Atmospheric interior with 3 centuries of family portraits, furniture, porcelain, needlework, costumes, royal relics and manorial documents. Collections of 18th century fans, snuff boxes and toys shown by appointment. Opening Times: Spring & Summer BHs including Good Fri & Mon; Easter - 30 Sept: most weekends; Jul & Aug: Most Tue & Thur; 2 - 5.30pm. By appointment throughout the year (including evenings) for groups (2 - 22). Winter: Some weekends if fine, 2 - 4pm. NB. Times may vary
