An enchanting and romantic spectacle
An enchanting and romantic spectacle, situated high on a wooded hilltop dominating the surrounding landscape. Built on the site of a Norman castle, this is largely an early 17th century mansion. Most delightful is the `Little Castle', a bewitching folly with intricate carvings, panelling and wall painting.
