(Powerscourt House incorporates an exhibition on the history of the estate, a terrace caf‚ overlooking the gardens and speciality shops.) 5km from the gardens is Powerscourt Waterfall, the highest in Ireland. Opening Times: 1 Mar - 31 Oct: daily, 9.30am - 5.30pm. 1 Nov - 28 Feb: daily, 9.30am - dusk. Closed 25/26 Dec
