The historic village of New Lanark is a nominated World Heritage Site. Surrounded by woodlands, and the Falls of Clyde, this cotton-spinning village was founded in 1785 and made famous by social pioneer Robert Owen. Beautifully restored as both a living community and attraction, its history is interpreted in the award- winning Visitor Centre. Accommodation available, please ring.
