Legh family home for 600 years. Part of the original Elizabethan house survives with 18th and 19th century additions by Giacomo Leoni and Lewis Wyatt. Four centuries of period interiors - Mortlake tapestries, Grinling Gibbons carvings, unique collection of English clocks. Historic gardens with conservatory by Wyatt, a lake and a `Dutch' garden. A 1,400 acre park, home to red and fallow deer. Exterior featured as `Pemberley' in BBC's Pride and Prejudice. Opening Times: Park: Apr - Oct: daily, 8am - 8.30pm; Nov - Mar 8am - 6pm.
