The spectacular hillside garden is beautiful throughout the year with spring flowering bulbs and shrubs, colourful herbaceous borders and fine trees. The garden is surrounded by parkland and woods offering lovely walks. The house is furnished as a family home and includes a costume collection dating from the 18th century in a series of period rooms and a Victorian laundry. Opening Times: House: 13 Mar - 31 Oct: daily (closed Tue), 11am - 5.30pm (last adm. 5pm). Park & Garden: daily, 10.30am to dusk
