Iford Manor Garden

Iford Manor, a Tudor house with a classical fa‡ade, was once a busy centre of the woollen industry. Set in a romantic river valley it is now surrounded by a peaceful terraced garden of unique character. Designed by the Edwardian architect Harold Peto, it has pools, statuary, a colonnade, terraces and a cloister. 1999 is Peto's centenary year at Iford. Historic Houses Association Member. Opening Times: Apr & Oct: Sun only & Easter Mon, 2 - 5pm. May - Sept: Tue, Wed, Thur, Sat, Sun & BH Mons, 2 - 5pm. Coaches by appointment at other times. Children under 10yrs not admitted at weekends
