Visited by Henry VII in 1487, the house is peaceful and welcoming with splendid medieval rooms, a Charles II staircase and fine 17th to 20th century English country furniture and family portraits. The courtyard garden, 1875 is planted with roses, herbaceous beds and an elaborate box parterre. Filming welcome. Historic Houses Association Member. Opening Times: Easter, Spring & Summer BHs (Sun & Mon). Jun: Thurs, July: Wed & Thur. Aug: Tue, Wed & Thur. All 2 - 5.30pm
