Finlaystone was the home of the Earls of Glencairn for 4 centuries and is now the home of the Chief of the Clan MacMillan. Visitors to this delightful country estate can explore beautiful gardens and woodlands, and have the opportunity to view a unique doll collection in the visitor centre which also houses natural history, Celtic art and Clan MacMillan displays and information. Fun for all the family with children's play areas and ranger service. Historic Houses Association Member. Opening Times: Grounds; all year, 10.30am - 5pm. House: Jul: Sun pm guided tours or groups any time by appointment. Refreshments & visitor centre: Apr - Sept: daily, 11am - 4.30pm
