Designed by Christopher Wren, built in 1684 for Col W Freeman, decorated by Grinling Gibbons and by James Wyatt. The Museum consists of a library, various documents of the Polish Kings, a very well-preserved collection of historical sabres and many memorable military objects of the Polish army. Paintings, early books, numismatic collections, arms and armour are also housed in a part of 12th century manor house. Opening Times: Mar - Oct: Wed, Thur & Sun, 2 - 5pm. Other dates by arrangement.
