Bishop's Palace built in Norman times by Henry of Blois, with Tudor and Jacobean additions. Formerly the seat of the Bishops of Winchester. Fine Great Hall re-modelled at the Restoration. Features include the Renaissance brickwork of Wayneflete's tower, and the 17th century chapel. Opening Times: All year: Wed, 2 - 4pm. Groups at other times by appointment. Closed between Christmas and New Year
