A beautiful array of magnificent sculptures

Compton Acres proudly introduced in 1986 an exciting collection of magnificent sculptures in addition to the traditional bronze and marble statuary. The Japanese Garden is reputed to be the only completely genuine Japanese Garden in Europe. Japanese architects and workmen were brought over to England to construct this garden. Equally delightful are the herbaceous border, Italian Garden, Palm Court, Woodland Walk and Glen, Rock and Water Gardens, Heather Dell and Garden of Memory, all of which are separate and distinct gardens. These beautiful gardens cover many acres overlooking Poole Harbour
