|
Catton, built in 1745 is not open to the public. It has been in the hands of the same family since 1405 and is still lived in by the Neilsons as their private home. This gives the house a unique relaxed and friendly atmosphere making guests feel at home whether they are inside for a formal occasion, or outside enjoying activities from a marquee. The 100 acres of parkland are ideal for all types of outdoor events. Corporate multi-activity days, management training sessions and the more traditional country sports of shooting, fishing or falconry can be arranged. There is also a small private chapel which is ideal for special weddings. Opening Times: By arrangement only: Corporate entertainment, management training, multi-activity days, wedding receptions, fairs, dinners, 4 x 4 course, etc
