A well kept 1620's treasure
A fine Jacobean house built in 1623. The rooms that can be viewed include the State Drawing Room with a magnificent ceiling and fireplace designed in 1623. The ceiling is divided into panels representing the senses and the elements. It is a rare example of a Jacobean house in the London area. The ground floor is available for hire and when not in use can be viewed. The rooms contain part of the local collection of paintings, and represent views of the locality from the 18th century to today. Opening Times: 3 Apr - 24 Oct: Sat, Sun & BHs, 2.30 - 5pm. Park open daily
