A lovely 1590's farmhouse

An Elizabethan yeoman farmhouse dating from 1590, located on the edge of Birmingham. The interior has period rooms, displays on 17th century life and timber-framed buildings, a fine long gallery and great parlour. Important surviving 16th century wall-paintings are also on display in the painted chamber. Opening times: 2 Apr - 31 Oct: daily 2 - 5pm. Site may close early in 1999, please telephone for details
