A beautiful garden influenced by Gertrude Jekyll and laid out in a series of rooms, including the white garden, the rose and iris garden and the lily garden. The working kitchen garden has apple, pear and plum trees trained along high stone walls. The Tudor Manor house was restored in the 1920s by the Lyle family. It is let to Stuart Interiors and is also open to NT visitors. Opening Times: Garden & Court House: 27 Feb - 14 Mar: Sat & Sun, 11am - 5.30pm. 20 Mar - 31 Oct: Daily except Fri, 11am - 5.30pm. Last admission 5pm. Coach groups by appointment tel: 01460 241938. Court House closed during 1999 for essential repairs.
