Elegant 18th cantury mansion with regancy interiors and deer park
One of the great houses of the Midlands. An elegant late 18th century mansion by George Steuart, with a Picture Gallery by Nash. It has magnificant Regency interiors with exceptional collections of ambassadorial silver, Italian neo-classical furniture and Grand Tour paintings. The park was landscaped by Repton in 1797. Opening Times: 27 Mar - 31 Oct: daily (closed Wed & Thur), 1.30 - 5pm. Deer Park & Grounds: daily, closed 25 Dec. Last admission 1 hr before closing
